Subject: On Hardball, when asked about Feith, Franks said...

that Feith was "brilliant". That's exactly what he said on TV.

Feith's book actually talks a good bit about Franks. They had some
run-ins during the run-up to the war. Franks didn't like being
questioned by anyone that wasn't wearing the uniform. So, Feith had
to be careful when they were in meetings.

Feith didn't seem to think too highly of Franks' post-war planning.
And he had the impression (correctly, I think) that Franks was not
interested in Feith's ideas.

At one meeting, Franks got in Feith's face and told him he didn't
have time for "this f****** bull****"...."
