I think he is critical of himself, other people within the defense
dept, state dept, cia, condoleezza, franks, powell, bremer....etc
etc.

I think he feels that the interagency process of coming up with
policy and executing policy is currently broke inside the bush admin.

I actually think he over-simplifies on some of the reasons that the
post-invasion part went bad. And even though I liked the book...and
I now believe the surge is working very well...I still maintain that
had I known back then what I know now, I wouldn't have supported an
invasion of Iraq.

Regardless, anyone that's interested in learning more about what
went into the thinking and debate within the administration should
read this book.
